Liv Moon is the metal project of the Swedish born singer Akane Liv, who also has Polish, Korean and Japanese roots. She was a member of the famous Takarazuka Revue Company, studied singing 2004 in England and was honored as „Singer Of The Year“ at Beckenham Festival.

After returning to Japan she met the music producer Takuya Nishiwaki, who encouraged her to build a metal symphonic project. The project's live debut took place on the stage of Japan's largest Heavy Metal Festival LOUD PARK in 2009; in December of the same year her first album DOUBLE MOON went on sale. It was followed by COVERS~Scream As A Woman~ in June 2010.
